Dhruv Releases New Song “Grieving”
British-Indian singer-songwriter Dhruv will release his upcoming debut album “Private Blizzard” on August 23, 2024.
From the album, he released the fourth single called “Grieving” on August 2, 2024.
The song is accompanied by the Billy Howard Price-directed music video.
The track was written by Alessandro Buccellati, Dhruv Sharma, and JT Daly who also produced it.
Dhruv said of the song, “Heartbreak feels like a shade of grief. This is a song that explores the different stages of it and specifically how strange and non-linear it is.”- The debut album comprises a 12-track, which he recored with producer JT Daly in Nashville.
Dhruv said of the album, “I started in a place of numbness, and I didn't really understand why I felt that way. The songs that I started out with were trying to help me unpack that feeling. The further along I got, I started feeling better-I just felt lighter.” -
He told Under The Radar Magazine about the album, “It represents the process of making the album - silently chipping away at it in coffee shops and other public places. It also represents the feeling of the music, very intimate in terms of writing style but very grand, dissonant, and messy in terms of its sound.” - source : Apple Music
