Andy Grammer Teams Up with Maddie & Tae for New Song “I Do”
American singer-songwriter Andy Grammer teamed up with American country music duo Maddie & Tae to release a new song “I Do” on August 2, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Andy Grammer and Maddie & Tae.
For Andy Grammer, the song is the follow-up to “Without You”, which was released back in June.
While, Maddie & Tae joined in the song as their third single of 2024, following “Sad Girl Summer” and “Free Like”.
The song sees Andy Grammer broadening his sonic scope, fusing classic country melodies with pop production. The upbeat track explores the complexities and resilience of love and commitment with its honest lyrics.
The track was written by Andrew Grammer, Jake Torrey, Jon Nite, Andrew DeRoberts who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jordan Wozy.- Andy Grammer said of the song, “'I Do' is a song about relationships - specifically for me, my relationship with my wife. We operate at a pretty heightened level: where it's very intense, but it's also very playful. We fight a lot, and we laugh a lot. She drives me crazy, both good and bad and I wouldn't have it any other way.”
