Lainey Wilson Releases New Song “Good Horses” featuring Miranda Lambert
American country music singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson released a new song “Good Horses” on August 2, 2024.
The song is the fourth single off of her upcoming fifth studio album “Whirlwind”, which is set to be released on August 23, 2024 via BBR Music.
On the track, she teamed up with American country music singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert.
This marks the first collaboration between Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert.
Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert first performed the song at The Theater at The Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas last December.
The track was written by Lainey Wilson, Luke Dick, and Miranda Lambert. Produced by Jay Joyce.
The new album is her first LP in two years since the 2022 album “Bell Bottom Country”.
The album comprises a 14-track, featuring a guest appearance from Miranda Lambert, Produced by Jay Joyce.- Before the release of the new song, Lainey Wilson said of the album and her band, “Today I'm thinking about my day one, talking about the people that have stood by my side and supported me when I didn't have anything to offer except for a few songs and a big 'ol dream. We are officially one month away from my album Whirlwind dropping. We have been working on this thing for over a year. And I'm so glad that our labor of love you could call it is almost years, almost. I truly do think that this is the best record that I have ever done and my band got to play on it. It seems like we all knew what was missing without even talking about it and it just feels special. I mean these are the guys my day ones they're the ones who started out with me in a flatbed F-450. We had equipment strapped to the back. We rode a million miles in a van. And I'll tell you what, it was a big deal to get a van. Big deal. But this record is really special to me for a lot of reasons but having my boys on it makes it that much more special. And it only makes sense to have them play on a record called Whirlwind because they have been a part of my Whirlwind since day one.”
