British singer-songwriter Emily Burns dropped s new music video for “Give And Take” on July 30, 2024.
The song was released as the fourth single of 2024 on July 3, 2024.
It was written by Emily Burns, Hannah Wilson, and Tom Martin. Produced by Tom Martin and Jacob Attwooll.
Emily Burns said of the song, “I wrote it about realising you're with the person you want forever and knowing that things won't always be perfect but, that's okay because you'll stand together through anything. It's really a song about weathering the stormy ups and downs of life together - a testament to the idea that true love is worth fighting for, even when the road ahead is uncertain. Letting a person see you in your most vulnerable and worst states and knowing, without doubt, that they won't be going anywhere. I feel beyond lucky to have found that person and I hope you love this ode to her.”- The video was filmed with iPhone in New York.
Emily Burns said of the video, “We shot this on our iPhones in New York… tbh it wasn't really ever the plan to make a music video but it just worked so perfectly. We see it as something we can watch back in 40 years and feel blessed and grateful for the love and opportunities we have” -
