Dorothy Returns with New Song “MUD”
American rock band Dorothy, consisting of Dorothy Martin (lead vocals), Sam Bam Koltun (guitar), Jake Hayden (drums), and Eliot Lorango (bass), returned with a new song “MUD” on July 19, 2024.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming fourth studio album. The details of the album will be announced in due course.
The band incorporates country music elements into the song, unlike their previous work. The track is a mix of blues-infused rock and country music sounds.
It was written by Dorothy Martin, and Scott Stevens who also produced the track.
The band lead singer Dorothy Martin saoid of the song, “Our first single off this record is an amalgamation of hard rock, metal, and country tied together with a trap beat and spicy, heavily layered vocals. It was also my first time attempting a scream - proud of that.”- source : Apple Music
