Sub Focus Premieres New Song “Wildfire” on BBC Radio 1
London-based DJ Sub Focus premiered a new song “Wildfire” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Go Back” with American DJ John Summit and London-based singer-songwriter Julia Church.
The track was written by Camilla Dunhill, Cheddar Man, Josh Wilkinson, Luis Navidad, and Nicolaas Douwma. Produced by Sub Focus.
The song features guest vocals from British singer-songwriter Joe Hill.
He first performed the song at Drumsheds in London last year.
Sub Focus said of the song, “I first played ‘Wildfire’ at Drumsheds at the end of last year and immediately knew from the crowd reaction we were onto something special. It's been the most requested song in my set for months now so what better way to kick off a new series of releases of mine.”- Sub Focus told Jack Saunders about the song, “This is the first in a brand new series of music for me going to be releasing a bunch of new music over the next few months. So first time I tested it was played the second ever show at Drumsheds last year and always try out like new music my sets to sort of get a flavor for people were into and immediately felt really good.”
He continued, “I'm just loving the drama based movement is so strong right now. Just feels like a super exciting time.” -
He added, “I can't speak too much about who have been working with but I've just been storing up some music. I've been really busy in the studio and some has been crazy so far, EDC to Tomorrowland recently and we just did a headline show Circular Sound On the Beach Brighton, which is my live visual show.
