olayinka ehi Returns with New Song “where did the sun go?”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter olayinka ehi returned with a new song “where did the sun go?” on July 26, 2024.
The song is her first music since the 2023 debut project “Let's Get Romantic”, which was released as Yinka.
She wrote the song with producer Chris Potter.
Her heart-felt lyricism blends escape with reality, streamlining an authentic connection with her supporters, whilst leaving time for self-discovery.
olayinka ehi said of the song, “I was in a cloudy space for a long time after my last project - I was amongst good things and good people but I couldn’t get past the fog. 'Where Did The Sun Go' is my best description of that period of my life. This song is for everyone who ever felt like the couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel but knowing deep down that there’s a possibility that it exists.“- She shared on socila media, “'Where did the Sun go' represents a really dark episode of my life. It was the only song I finished last year. Life is so much better now but this got me through it.”
She is currently working of her upcoming EP. -
