American Authors Releases New Song “Something Amazing” featuring ROZES
Brooklyn-based alt-rock band American Authors, consisting of Zac Barnett (vocals), Dave Rublin (bass) and Matt Sanchez (drums), released a new song “Something Amazing” on July 26, 2024.
This time, the band teamed up with American singer-songwriter ROZES on the track.
The song is the fifth single off of their upcoming fifth studio album “Call Your Mother”, which is set to be released on October 18, 2024.
The track was written by Dave Rublin, Matt Sanchez, Zac Barnett, and Zac Taylor. Produced by American Authors and Matt Sanchez.
The band said of the song, “I'll say it now, this is my favorite song from our fifth album, 'Call Your Mother'. So many of the things I love (people, substances, activities) have hurt me somehow in the past but they're so amazing I keep going back. Is that the wrong move or is it just the circle of life? This song explores how the best parts of life can come with consequences.”
They added, “A song about making the same mistakes in love, and breaking your own heart over and over agin.”- The new album is their first body of work since the 2023 album “Best Night of My Life”.
The band recorded over 40 songs for the album. Produced by American Authors and Matt Sanchez.
To date, the band has released “My Last Dime”, “Daisies”, “Save Tonight”, and “Can't Stand the Mourning” from the album.
The band said of the album, “In this first collection we reintroduce you to our new world, sonically we wanted to dive in head first with songs you can explore and adventure to... 'life's an open road'. We will be giving you songs from 'Call Your Mother' over the next few months, As they come out we will be revealing the track list one at a time. So many surprises up ahead.
