The Maine Releases New Song “Touch”
American alt-rock band The Maine, consisting of John O'Callaghan (vocals), Kennedy Brock (guitar), Jared Monaco (lead guitar), Garrett Nickelsen (bass), and Pat Kirch (drums), released a new song “Touch” on July 11, 2024.
The song is their first music since the 2023 self-titled album.
Earlier this year, the band released the deluxe version of the album “The Maine”, including four bonus tracks.
The track was written by Garrett Nickelsen, Jared Monaco, John O'Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, and Pat Kirch. Produced by John O'Callaghan and Matt Keller.
The accompanying music video was directed by Beewax.
The band said of the song, “On another episode of, 'This Doesn’t Sound Like The Maine,' we dive into the sonic drama of their new song “Touch.” Seventeen years in, I too am unsure if TM has an actual sound, but all I know is that this is where our creative taste took us and to me it sounds like a rattlesnake in the trousers.”- source : Apple Music
