Hannah Laing Premieres New Song “Ibizacore” with Muki on BBC Radio 1
Scottish DJ Hannah Laing premiered a new song “Ibizacore” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is featured on her new EP “Into The Doof”, which was released on July 24, 2024.
She teamed up with Sydney-based singer-songwriter Muki on the track.
The track was written by Calum MacLeod, Hannah Laing, James Hurr, Kate Niina, Liam Robertson, and Pete Wu-Oh. Produced by Hannah Laing, James Hurr, and The Clouds.
Hannah Laing told Jack Saunders about the song, “To be honest with you, this shouldn't have been through the works. I've actually been through quite a feeling. Vocals with this, we started off with that main catchy lead. And I just couldn't get away with it. And then finally, I actually wasn't even going to put it out because I think it's not happening. Let's just leave it. And then, very last minute, I got sent this phone call. And I thought I'm going to try this.”- The EP comprises a 6-track, featuring collaborations with Fairground, Jem Cooke, and Muki.

Hannah Laing said of the EP in a press release, “I got together with some of my favourite writers and producers at a camp in Glasgow last year and we had such an incredible 3 days of making music and really pushing my sound and that's what you hear on this EP. This EP really represents me, my DJ sets and where I'm at as an artist right now, so I hope you like.” -
She spoke to Jack Saunders, “When I play my sets, I play like a wide variety of genres and I think like when I'm making trends is the same. It's like multiple styles. So I really wanted to release a batch of music to show and explore all the different styles I do make and play. Get them all into the world together. Something for everybody and I'm so excited to get out because I really feel this truly represents me as an artist.”
