BOYR!OT Releases New Song “ALL THE BEST, JESS!”
Los Angeles-based alt-rock duo BOYR!OT, consisting of Greg Driscoll (vocals) and Brendan Eprile (guitar), released their second single called “ALL THE BEST, JESS!” on July 10, 2024, following their debut single “MA!N CHARACTER”.
The song is inspired by emo pop of the 2000's, adding modern electronic elements, this cathartic single about breaking free from an ex.
It was written by Brendan Eprile, Greg Driscoll, and Marlo Berberian. Produced by NKLAI and Taylor Morrow.
The accompanying music video was filmed by Nas Bogado.
The video features guest appearances from drummer Jess Goodwin and Constance Antoinette, who is the touring guitarist for Demi Lovato.
The duo said of the song, “We all have had people in our lives who have let us down when we needed them the most, broke our hearts when we gave it to them, or said they loved you when they actually don't. We wrote this song as a big ol 'FVCK YOU!' to those people. This song is an angry and unfiltered warning to anyone who wants to screw with us or anyone close to us.”
They added, “If you are going through heartbreak, betrayal, or something of the sort, I hope that you can find comfort in this song.”- BOYR!OT prides itself on making music for people who don't fit into societal norms, specifically queer individuals who don't fit into mainstream queer spaces. Their resonant sound and unapologetic attitude give a voice to the voiceless and provide a safe space for those who feel marginalized. Known for their ferocious sound and defiant spirit, BOYR!OT is more than just a band - they are a revolution that celebrates and empowers outliers.
