Jonas Blue & Eyelar Team Up for New Song “100 Lives”
British DJ Jonas Blue teamed up with London-based Dutch singer-songwriter Eyelar to release a new song “100 Lives” on July 19, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Jonas Blue and Eyelar.
For Jonas Blue, the song is the follow-up to Mountains with German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees, which was released back in May.
While, for Eyelar, it is the first collaborative song of 2024, following her lates single “Terrible Love”.
The track was written by Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Guy James Robin, and Ollie Green. Produced by Jonas Blue.
Jonas Blue said of the song, “'100 Lives' started out as a piano instrumental I’d created randomly after watching the Robbie Williams documentary and feeling inspired by that big piano pop sound. Fast forward to a month or so later and I pulled up the instrumental in the studio with Eyelar and (songwriter/producer) Ollie Green and the lyrics and story just started to flow.”- He continued, “It’s very much about finding your soul mate, someone who you’d be there for no matter what, going through the ups and downs of life together. It’s a bit of a follow-up to my song ‘By Your Side’, if you listen to the story in the lyrics.”
