James Bay Announces New Album “Changes All The Time”, Shares New Song “Up All Night” with The Lumineers & Noah Kahan
British singer-songwriter and guitarist James Bay has announced his fourth studio album “Changes All The Time” will be released on September 20, 2024.
It is his first album in two years since the 2022 album “Leap”.
On the album, James Bay worked with producer Gabe Simon and co-writers such as The Killers' Brandon Flowers, Holly Humberstone, Semisonic's Dan Wilson, Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen, and Kevin Garrett.
The album comprises a 11-track, featuring guest appearances from American alt-folk band The Lumineers and American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan.
James Bay said of the album, “I really felt some true musical freedom making this music. With the help of my co producer Gabe Simon I found the courage to make what I wanted to make in ways I never have before.”- From the album, James Bay released the first single called “All The Time” on July 19, 2024.
He teamed up with The Lumineers and Noah Kahan on the track.
The track was written by Gabe Simon, James Bay, and Mark Broughton. Produced by Gabe Simon and James Bay.
James Bay said of the song, “'Up All Night' is all about navigating the great weight of all the stuff that plays on our minds and keeps us awake at night. I have some great history with Noah and The Lumineers. We manifested this collaboration for a while, and I feel proud we could make it happen!” -
