  • Joe Jonas Announces New Album “Music For People Who Believe In Love”, Shares New Song “Work It Out”

  • American singer-songwriter and Jonas Brothers' member, Joe Jonas has announced his sophomore solo album “Music For People Who Believe In Love” will be released October 18, 2024 via Republic Records.

The album is his first body of work in 13 years since the 2011 album “Fastlife” and comprises a 13-track.
On the album, he worked with Blush, Jason Evigan, American singer-songwriter Alexander 23, Justin Trainor, Tommy English, American indie pop band MUNA's Josette Maskin, Paris Carney, and more.

Joe Jonas said of the album, “We made an album in two to three weeks. Just two rooms all at once and I'm just really excited. It's the most personal music I have ever put out.”

From the album he released the first single called “Work It Out” on July 19, 2024.
The track was written by Bianca Atterberry, Jason Evigan, Joe Jonas, Kane Ritchotte, and Victoria Evigan. Produced by Jason Evigan and Kane Ritchotte.
  • Joe Jonas told Jake Shane of Therapuss about the song, “We wrote it pretty quickly, but the idea is, pretty much, sometimes you realize that you have to shake yourself out of something and you're the only person that's going to fix it for yourself. No one's gonna come save you. It's emotional lyrics with fun music.”

He continued, “I asked my brothers' blessings, and I was like, 'Hey, I wanna go work on — I don't wanna call it solo, but I want to go do something on my own, and I don't feel like it's DNCE, and I need to go just express some stuff for myself,'” Jonas said. “And they're like, 'Go for it.'”
  • Joe Jonas said of the album in a statement, “I am thrilled to share my new solo album with you - Music For People Who Believe In Love. This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird's-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me.”

When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment. It's okay to cry and mourn a loss - it's part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about.'”

“This album speaks to the experiences of being a father, being a friend to oneself and others, and the happiness I've found in doing what I love for a living. I feel incredibly fortunate to travel the world and connect with people through my music, as well as having had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters, and producers on this project.

A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera during filming that asked, 'What do you want them to feel?'. This question still resonates with me every time I step on stage or create new music. The ability to perform, connect deeply with an audience, and evoke positive emotions, or even healing, is a gift I cherish.

This album is a reflection and celebration of life. I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me creating it. Please enjoy! With love and gratitude, Joe”
