Canadian singer-songwriter Julian Taylor released a new song “Ain't Life Strange” on July 10, 2024.
The song is taken from his upcoming album “Pathways”, which is set to be released September 27, 2024.
The track was inspired by longing, exuding feelings of sadness, regret, and nostalgia.
It was written by Julian Taylor and produced by Colin Linden.
Julian Taylor said of the song, “It explores the idea of going back in time or at least wanting to go back in time to fix things before they become too broken.”
Also, he shared on social media, “New Music for this current early morning rain and coffee kind of mood. Hope that this song connects with you and that you enjoy listening to it. Wrote this song for the new album. On the album, Julian Taylor candidly captures how he approaches handling a litany of ever-lingering burdens which mirror the struggles we all experience.
Julian Taylor said of the album, “When you feel heavy, you’ve got to get things off your chest and Pathways reflects the way I was feeling while I was writing it and making it. What any of us are going through at any particular time acts as an imprint of what we’re battling and trying to heal within ourselves.” -
