Select All Shares New Song “Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk”
Melbourne-based alt-rock band Select All, consisting of Karina Walsh (vocals), Emma Papa (drums), Olivia Bovolato (guitar) and Tayla Basso (bass), has released a new song “Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk”.
The song is their first release since the 2023 debut album “Lungs From the Bones”.
The track was written by Karina Walsh, Tayla Basso, Emma Papa, and Olivia Bovolato. Produced by Cole.
The band said of the song, “'Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk' tackles themes of unrequited love and unmatched passion, inspired by painful moments from our own lives. It was the culmination of four minds and their separate ideas which all came together to create something we considered perfect, enough to record it with our friend Cole and release it as a single.”
Also, the band shared on social media, “We are so insanely proud of this and we are so grateful for Cole for working his magic with us on this track. Everyone has already shown us so much support at our gigs when we've played this track so we're really excited to see where it goes.”- Select All was formed by drummer Emma Papa and vocalist Karina Walsh in 2019.
They have since joined forces with guitarist Olivia Bovolato and bassist Tayla Basso.
The band undercuts their noisy, gritty guitar tones, surrealist lyrics and angsty attitudes with enough pop melodicism to create a sound unlike anything average listeners have heard before.
The band released their debut album “Lungs From the Bones” on April 29, 2023.
They bring alternative grunge back above the surface with their newest single “Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk”. -
