Blusher Releases New Song “Overglow”
Australian pop-trio Blusher, consisting of Miranda Ward, Lauren Coutts and Jade Ingvarson-Favretto, released a new song “Overglow” on July 16, 2024.
The song is the fourth single of 2024, following “24 Hours in Paris”, “Accelerator” and “Rave Angel”.
A buzzy, sparkling crush confession, the song is full of the fizzy excitement and energy you carry around with you when you’re completely obsessed with someone.
Starting in Melbourne, the song was finished whilst the band were on tour in the US, then mixed in London, whilst the visualizer was shot in Tokyo.
The track was written by Jade Ingvarson-Favretto, Lauren Coutts, and Miranda Ward. Produced by Lauren Coutts and Lucy Blomkamp.
The trio said of the song, “We channelled the feeling of our first crushes, a shimmering Tokyo skyline, and Britney Spears riding a motorbike through the sky in the Toxic video. It’s done a whole lap of the world with us, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it.
