DJ Zinc Premieres New Song “Leave It All Behind” with Mia Kirkland on BBC Radio 1
London-based record producer DJ Zinc teamed up with British singer-songwriter Mia Kirkland to premiere a new song “Leave It All Behind” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
This marks the first collaboration between DJ Zinc and Mia Kirkland.
The track was written and produced by DJ Zinc and co-written by Mia Kirkland.
For DJ Zinc, the song is the fourth track of 2024, following “Stubborn” featuring Iyamah, “London” with Riko Dan and “Pali” with Emmanuel Jal.
While, Mia Kirkland performed with Los Angeles-based producer Toby Gad at St Mary Magdalene's Church in London on July 11, 2024 after recording the new song.
DJ Zinc said of the song, “I've got a new track out. It's called 'Leave It All Behind' with a singer Mia Kirkland. For Mia, it is her first proper release. And it's a real pleasure and an honor to be working with somebody. At the start of their career. Over the years, I've had the good luck to work with lots of singers, artists, and most of them are pretty well established. So, it's really nice to work with somebody at the start of their career. She's definitely going to have a very glittering career when you hear her sing, you'll know why. Also, I know some of the artists she's been working with already, so definitely name to watch.
