TAVE Releases Debut Song “No More Maybes” featuring Bibi Bourelly & India Shawn
British music producer Steve Octave, aka TAVE teamed up with German singer-songwriter Bibi Bourelly and Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter India Shawn to release a debut song “No More Maybes” on July 12, 2024.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut album “Difference Now”, which is expected to be released in 2025.
The track was written and produced by TAVE and cowritten by Bibi Bourelly, Carlin White, India Shawn, and Martin Hookman.
TAVE shared on social media, “Had a fun time making this with the team. This has been a journey in the making, thank you Bibi Bourelly & India Shawn for lending your beautiful souls and voices on this. I'm forever grateful.”
India Shawn said, “I don't think TAVE knew he was making one of my dream collaborations happen when he hit me for a verse on 'No More Maybes'. I've been a fan of Bibi for so long! It was cool to play with a different, darker sonic palette and to tap into a more rebellious side... it was a much needed departure, and that's the essence of the song, getting away from familiar & not giving a f*ck.”- TAVE is a London-born songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, currently based in St. Lucia.
He has worked with Little Mix, 6LACK, Masego, The Saturdays, Rapsody, SiR, Kelly Rowland, The-Dream, EXO, Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, and more.
He was nominated Grammy Awards twice, for Best Progressive R&B Album with “Studying Abroad: Extended Stay” by Masego in 2021 and Best Progressive R&B Album with “Since I Have a Lover” by 6LACK in 2023.
He singed to ADA Music and Warner Music UK in 2024.
He said of his music, “Ultimately my goal is to bring good vibrations, wellness and healing through music. I really hope it will inspire people to follow their dreams, whatever they may be, the passion has been installed for a purpose.” -
