Paul Russell Releases New Song “Slippin'” featuring Meghan Trainor
Los Angeles-based rapper Paul Russell joined forces with American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor for a new song “Slippin'”.
The song was released on July 12, 2024 via Arista Records.
This marks the first collaboration between Paul Russell and Meghan Trainor.
But Paul Russell will support Meghan Trainor's Timeless Tour at arenas across North America this fall.
The track was written by CASTLE, Connor McDonough, Paul Russell, Riley McDonough, and Sean Cook.

Paul Russell said of the song, “Needed something new to scream at 2 am karaoke. It’s hard enough finding someone to love. Getting them to love you back? Even harder. The song is emotional, but it’s not a sad song. It’s meant to bring people together. It’s a song you want to sing along to. I hope so anyway!”- Also, he told People about working with Meghan Trainor, “It was wild that I could make something and be like, 'Oh, let me text it to Meghan Trainor, see if she likes it,' which was pretty insane. She's just such a fun person, and she's super welcoming, and I've met her whole family, and they're all so nice. It’s just been a good relationship. She's the homie. The tour is going to be awesome.”
