JP Cooper Returns With New Song “Waiting On A Blue Sky”
British singer-songwriter JP Cooper returned with a new song “Waiting On A Blue Sky” on July 12, 2024.
The song is his first solo music in two years since the 2022 album “She”.
Also, the track is the first single off of his upcoming third studio album.
He first performed the song at blues’n’jazz festival in Switzerland last month.
The track was written by Benjamin McIldowie, JP Cooper, and Simon Aldred. Produced by Cam Blackwood.
JP Cooper said of the song, “I've touched on a lot of influences here that in the past made me nervous for fear that they wouldn't have the commercial impact I might have hoped for. However, as this song says, 'Don't pay no mind to your fear, it's a lie' I'm speaking to my own confidence as the start of the whole project. I hope the song speaks to you too.”- He shared on social media, “Little announcement. I have a first single from my new album. The song is called 'Waiting On A Blue Sky'. This song means the world to me, and I’m so excited to share it with all of you. It’s a piece of my heart, and I hope it resonates with yours.”
