  • Pale Waves Releases New Song “Glasgow”

  • British alt-rock band Pale Waves, consisting of Heather Baron-Gracie (vocals/rhythm guitar), Ciara Doran (drums), Hugo Silvani (guitar) and Charlie Wood (bass), released a new song “Glasgow” along with a music video on July 12, 2024.

The song is the second single off of their upcoming fourth studio album “Smitten”, which is set to be released on September 20, 2024 via Dirty Hit.
The track was written by Heather Baron-Gracie and Simon Oscroft. Produced by Simon Oscroft and Iain Berryman.

The band lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie said of the song, “Glasgow is my favourite from ‘Smitten’. It’s about leaving someone because you know it’s no good for either of you anymore. It somehow breaks my heart but also makes me feel so euphoric at the same time.”
  • The new album comprises a 12-track and was written between the US and UK over two years.

Heather Baron-Gracie said of the album, “I found myself writing about not just a certain time period, but my whole life, from years ago. When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger. So I feel like Smitten really summarised perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.”
