Orville Peck & Beck Team Up for New Song “Death Valley High”
South African country music singer-songwriter Orville Peck teamed up with American singer-songwriter Beck to release a new song “Death Valley High” on July 12, 2024.
The song is taken from his upcoming duets album “Stampede”, which is set to be released on August 2, 2024.
The track was written by Beck Hansen, Dan Nakamura, and Orville Peck. Produced by Beck Hansen and Orville Peck.
The accompanying music video was directed by Austin Peters, featuring drag queen Gigi Goode and American actress Sharon Stone.
The new album comprises a 15-track, including the preceding EP “Stampede Vol. 1”, which was released back in May, and 8 other tracks.
The album title continues the theme of Orville Peck's releases being named after horses.
The album features collaborators such as Allison Russell, Beck, Bu Cuarón, Debbii Dawson, Elton John, Margo Price, Mickey Guyton, Midland, Nathaniel Rateliff, Noah Cyrus, Teddy Swims, Willie Nelson, Kylie Minogue, Diplo, Molly Tuttle, Golden Highway, T.J.
