Wasia Project Announces New EP “Isotope”, Shares New Song “Takes Me Back Home”
London-based pop duo Wasia Projec, consisting of Olivia Hardy and William Gao, has announced their new EP “Isotope” will be released on August 29, 2024 via AWAL.
The EP is their first project in two years since the 2022 EP “how can i pretend?” and comprises a 7-track.
From the EP, the duo released the second single called “Takes Me Back Home” on July 11, 2024, following “Is This What Love Is?”.
The track was written by Olivia Hardy, and William G Hardy. Produced by St Francis Hotel.
The accompanying music video features their childhood and was filmed by their parents Mark and Li Ping Hardy.
The duo said of the song, “‘Takes Me Back Home’ is essentially a love song about feeling safe and at home with another person. It has also come to reflect much more than that, covering deeper feelings of what it means to belong somewhere, and a yearning to connect with others.”- Photo by Alice Backham
