Nilüfer Yanya Releases New Song “Call It Love”
London-based singer-songwriter Nilüfer Yanya released a new song “Call It Love” from her upcoming third studio album “My Method Actor” on July 10, 2024.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Like I Say (I runaway)” and “Method Actor”.
The new album comprises a 11-track and is set to be released on September 13, 2024 via Ninja Tune.
Nilüfer Yanya co-wrote the song with producer Will Archer.
On the track, she delves introspective themes, inviting listeners to confront deep-seated truths and trust their instincts.
She said of the song, “It takes a certain kind of bravery to fully trust your instincts. It's about allowing your calling to lead you, to let it guide you somewhere. Let that consume you and destroy you.”- Also, she shared on social media, “This is the Metamorphosis moment on the record that's coming soooon. Can't help but think of the Phoenix rising up from the ashes reborn , re-birthed a'new ! I think about the beauty of this ability we have to transform, to let it happen from the inside out, as a necessity to be able to keep moving on , to really listen to ourselves and follow our own roads we paved with stones and our desire.”

The new album is her first project in two years and she recorded the album with producer in London, Eastbourne, and Wales.
Nilüfer Yanya said of the album, “This is the most intense album, in that respect. Because it's only been us two. We didn't let anyone else into the bubble.”
