Bradley Marshall Releases New Song “Terrified”
Irish singer-songwriter Bradley Marshall released a new song “Terrified” on June 21, 2024.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with Mollie King.
The track is the follow-up to “How Do I”, which was last November.
Also, it is the first release under major labels for him. He signed to Universal Music UK and EMI Records back in March.
The track was written by Bradley Marshall, Charlie Bryce Wallace, and Liam Geddes who also produced it.
Bradley Marshall said of the song, “I wanted to share a song I wrote about my own insecurities, about not feeling comfortable in my own skin and body. I suffered badly with Psoriasis which effects the skin and I never wanted anybody to know that I had it. I spent 3 days a week for 3 months in hospitals trying to find out what caused it and how to get rid of it. All while I was already struggling with how I looked to myself and other people.”- He continued, “I was in college at the time and I would wear gloves in the classrooms because the Psoriasis covered my hands and I would always wear long sleeves because it was all over my arms. My self confidence was shattered and this caused me to gain weight which just doubled the effect on my mental health.”
He added, “This song is for all the people out there who have their struggles with how they look and how they feel and are afraid to embrace their flaws. I was there too, you're not alone in that.” - source : BBC Radio 1
