Dog Race Releases New Song “The Leader”
London-based alternative band Dog Race, consisting of Katie Healy (vocals), James Kelly (guitar), Jed Finkelstein (drums), Dillon Willis (keyboards) and Will McNabb (bass), released a new song “The Leader” on July 3, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following the release of “It's The Squeeze” back in January.
The track was written by Dillon Willis, James Kelly, Jed Finkelstein, Kathryn Healy, and William Macnab. Produced by Ali Chant, who also produced their previous song.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jed Finkelstein.
The band leased singer Katie Healy said of the song in a statement, “'The Leader' feels like the perfect continuation from 'It's The Squeeze', building on our newly defined sound yet teasing how much more we have to offer. It sets its narrative around a protagonist who is thrown into inner turmoil when confronted with a fee to cross into the afterlife, convinced she had already paid her dues.”- Previous Song “It's The Squeeze”
