Kesha Releases New Song “JOYRIDE”
American singer-songwriter Kesha released a new song “JOYRIDE” on July 4, 2024.
The song is the first release under her own lebel, Kesha Records, since departing from RCA and Kemosabe Records.
She completed the contract with Dr. Luke Kemosabe Records and RCA Records, following the settlement from the lawsuit with her former producer, Dr. Luke, and signed with Crush Management back in February.
Kesha shared on social media, “First day I've owned my voice in 19 years. Welcome.”
Also, the song is the first single off of her upcoming sixth studio album.
The track was written by Kesha, Madison Love, and Zhone who also produced it.
She first performed the song at Planet Pride in Brooklyn on June 30, 2024.- Kesha said in a newsletter, “Animals. I've waited for this day for more than half of my life. All of my adult life. There is so much more that I have to say, and experiences we have to share. This is the time for our joy ride. We made it... and I wasn't alone thanks to each of you. Thank you. So much is on the horizon… But for now... Freedom. I've been waiting for you.”
