Quavo & Lana Del Rey Team Up for New Song “Tough”
American rapper Quavo and American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey teamed up to release a new song “Tough” on July 3, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Quavo and Lana Del Rey.
Both artists teased the song on social media last month.
Lana Del Rey and Quavo first performed during her headline show at Fenway Park in Boston on June 20, 2024.
The track was written by Andrew Watt, Benny Negrin, Clayton Johnson, Elysse Jane Yulo, Henry Walter, Jack Antonoff, Jaxson Free, Josh Dorr, Lana Del Rey, Maddox Batson, Nick Bailey, and Quavious Marshall.
Produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut. The accompanying music video was directed by Wyatt Spain Winfrey.
Lana Del Rey shared on social media, “Our new song is out with the toughest rapper I know. Love everyone who helped make this happen.”- Lana Del Rey will release her upcoming tenth studio album “Lasso” in September 2024.
The album is the first country music project for her.
Lana Del Rey said of the album at the NMPA Songwriter Awards back in January, “If you can't already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country.
