Jonah Kagen Drops New Music Video for “God Needs The Devil”
Back in May, American singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen released a new song “God Needs The Devil”.
The song is the first music since the 2023 EP “The Roads”.
Also the song is the first single off of his upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2024.
The track was written and produced by Jonah Kagen.
On July 2, he dropped a new music video for the song directed by David OD.
Jonah Kagen said of the song, “‘God Needs The Devil’ is a metaphor for the human condition. It’s the persisting struggle to be good while having a dependence, or at least a false sense of dependence, on something evil. It means so much to me, and I hope you can find some piece of yourself in it.”
He shared on social media, “The first song off my debut album. the start of a project that is an honest snapshot of my brain and my desperate pursuit of meaning, faith, and identity.”- source : Apple Music
