HAPPY LANDING Releases New Song “Mountain Mama”
American indie folk rock band HAPPY LANDING, consisting of Matty Hendley (lead vocals/guitar), Keegan Christensen (vocals/keyboard), Jacob Christensen (drums), Andrew Gardner (fiddle/vocals) and WIlson Moyer (bass/guitar/vocals), will release their highly-anticipated debut album “Golden To be Released” on July 12, 2024.
From the album, the band the fourth single called “Mountain Mama” on June 28, 2024.
The track was written by Matthew Brennan Hendley and produced by Blake Mohler.
The band said of the song, “The song gives a nod to John Denver, who has long been my family’s favorite artist and one of my biggest folk inspirations. I was also inspired also by the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The song is sort of a journey through the fleeting days of youth. I was thinking a lot about Frodo’s journey to Mordor and all the things that challenged him along his way. Being in a touring band sometimes feels like leaving the Shire and traveling into the unknown. In the song, the character is comforted knowing that in his travels, he has something/someone guiding his way. It’s one of our most intense songs and super fun to play live.
