Glastonbury Festival 2024 Performance Highlights: Coldplay, Dua Lipa, SZA, Cyndi Lauper, Avril Lavigne, The National, London Grammar & More
The 2024 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts took place at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset between June 26 and June 30, 2024.
The event was broadcast on BBC Radio.
The event consisted of seven stages, including Pyramid Stage, Other stage, West Holts stage, Woodsies stage, The Park stage, Acoustic stage, and Avalon stage.
This year, the line-up included Coldplay, Dua Lipa, SZA, Shania Twain, Cyndi Lauper, Avril Lavigne, Paloma Faith, Janelle Monáe, The National, Camila Cabello, London Grammar, Anne-Marie, Olivia Dean, Jessie Ware, James Blake, Jamie xx, Arlo Parks, Remi Wolf, The Vaccines, Aurora, Disclosure, Fontaines D.C., The Last Dinner Party, and more.- On Pyramid Stage, headliners were Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA. This marks the first time in Glastonbury's history that two of the three Pyramid Stage headliners are women.
Also, Coldplay became the first act to headline the festival five times, having previously done so in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016.
While, Dua Lipa headlined for the first time. Dua Lipa said, “I have dreamt of this moment all my life. Something that lived only in my wildest dreams and highest manifestations !!! I am so excited to see you all in my favourite place on earth and make it a night to remember!!” - source : BBC
