Miranda Lambert Releases New Song “Dammit Randy”
Last month, American country music singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert released the first single “Wranglers” from her upcoming tenth studio album, which is expected to be release in 2024.
It was the first release under her new labels Republic Records and Big Loud.
Following the first single, she released the second single called “Dammit Randy” on June 28, 2024.
The song came from a conversation with producer Jon Randall as she started her journey with her new labels Republic Records and Big Loud.
The track was written by Brendan McLoughlin, Jon Randall, and Miranda Lambert. Produced by Jon Randall and Miranda Lambert.
“This song came out of a conversation the night before Jon Randall and I went into the studio to make this album,” Miranda Lambert said of the song. “We were talking about how excited we were to be starting this journey with a new label family (Republic and Big Loud) and how supported we felt by them, which turned into chatting about situations where you might not feel so supported by someone - in this song’s case, an unappreciative Randy. So, this one’s for anyone with a Randy they need to move on from.”- Miranda Lambert is set for a special “Music for Mutts” benefit concert at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on October 5, 2024.
This marks the 15th anniversary of her MuttNation Foundation, which has raised nearly $10 million to date in support of the welfare and adoption of shelter pets nationwide.
