Cat Burns Releases New Song “met someone”
London-based singer-songwriter Cat Burns will release her highly-anticipated debut album “early twenties” on July 12, 2024 via Since '93 / Sony RCA.
The album comprises a 17-track, featuring a guest appearances from American singer-songwriter India.Arie.
Cat Burns said of the album, “'Early Twenties' is my love letter to this period of time in my life. It's my attempt at showcasing the highs and lows of being in your early twenties. The album talks about romantic relationships, both my own and people closest to me, whilst also speaking about self introspection and accepting who you are.”
From the album, she released a new song “met someone” on June 28, 2024.
The track was written by Cat Burns and Jonny Lattimer. Produced by Jonny Lattimer and Risc.
The accompanying a music video was directed by Libby Burke Wilde, featuring cameos from India Amarteifio and Sam Reuben.- Cat Burns said of the song, “This one is for all the lovebirds who want to lap it up nd relish in your lovey-dovey ness! meeting someone you click with and connect with is such a euphoric feeling that I hope I captured with this song. I'm excited for you all to have it and sing it as loud as you can wherever you see fit!!”
Cat Burns embarks on early twenties tour in support of the album in UK and Europe. The tour kicks off at Melkweg MAX in Amsterdam on October 6, 2024 and will conclude at The Roundhouse in London on October 18, 2024.
