Pixey Releases New Song “Bring Back The Beat”
Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Pixey has released the third single called “Bring Back The Beat” from her upcoming debut album “Million Dollar Baby”.
Thus time, she worked with London-based producers duo Jungle's Tom McFarland and they recorded between her home studio and his studio in London.
On the track, She used a northern soul inspired horn sample.
The track was written and produced by Pixey, Rich Turvey, and Thomas McFarland.
The song is accompanied by the Polocho-directed music video.
Pixey said of the song, “'Bring Back The Beat' is a very special song to me on this album. I wanted it to sound like a northern soul throwback, a call to move and feel the music. A lot of the singles are more pop heavy, so this track is a nod to my love of sampledelia.”- The debut album is set to be released on August 2, 2024 and comprises 10 songs.
Pixey said of the album, “This album is more than just music to me. It's the final form of years of trying to prove myself. I've always felt as if I'm so close to something but never quite there.
