Griff Releases New Song “Anything”
Back in April, British singer-songwriter Griff announced her highly-anticipated debut album “Vertigo” would be released on July 19, 2024 via Warner Records.
The album consists of three parts “Vert1go Vol. 1”, “Vert1go Vol. 2” and “Vert1go Vol. 3”, and comprises a total of 14 songs.
Produced by Bill Rahko, Cirkut, Griff, LOSTBOY, Mura Masa, Sam Tsang and Siba.
Griff said of the album, “The album is about vertigo as an emotion and the dizziness and upside down feeling of heartache. I wanted to drop this project in parts from insular low feelings (Vol.1) to desperate euphoria (Vol.2) and with volume three, the full story.”
From the album, she released a new song “Anything” on June 21, 2024.
The track was written by Henry Walter and Sarah Griffiths. Produced by Cirkut, Connor McDonough, Griff, and Sam Tsang.- Griff said of the song, “'Anything' is about the idea that you would go to any length to make someone care for you, but they don't realise the power they hold. At a young age I think there's often a bit of imbalance, and I wanted the song to capture the intensity of those young relationships.”
She added, “This is the last month before the album comes out. With each volume.. I wanted the songs to find more power and euphoria. I hope you feel that with Anything.” -
Griff embarks on World Vert1go Tour in support of the album in UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America.
The tour kicks off at The Princess Theatre in Brisbane, QLD, Australia on August 13, and will conclude at LA RIVIERA in Madrid, Spain on December 3, 2024.
