Adam Lambert Releases New Song “CVNTY”
American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert released a brand new song called “CVNTY” from his upcoming EP “AFTERS” on June 21, 2024.
On the track, he has produced his own vocals for the first time.
The song follows up LUBE and WET DREAM, which were released last month.
It was written by Callum Maudsley, Kyle Shearer, Kyle Tonoli, and Trevor Klaiman. Produced by TELYKAST, Trevor Klaiman, Kyle Tonoli, and Valley Girl.
Adam Lambert said of the song, “The songs on ‘AFTERS' are all about desire and connection, but what about when things don’t work out and a lover messes up? ‘CVNTY' recalls running into an ex at a party and feeling empowered enough to tell them they lost their chance, and feeling like you look damn good as you do!”- The new EP is set to be released on July 19, 2024 via The Orchard.
The EP featured house music unlike his previous sound.
He said of the EP, “Creating Afters has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that’s unapologetically queer and sex-positive. I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities’ hedonistic desires and exploits. Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener.” -
