Cal in Red Announces Debut Album “Low Low”, Shares New Song “She Won't Say”
American indie-pop duo Cal in Red, consisting of brothers Connor Wright and Kendall Wright, has announced their debut album “Low Low” will be released on August 30, 2024 via B3SCI Records.
The album comprises a 10-track, featuring a guest appearance from American indie rock band The Shins' frontman James Mercer, produced by Connor Wright.
The duo has made the album four years.
The duo said, “we've been working toward this for a while and we're thrilled to share these songs with you in a few months.”
From the album, they released the fourth single called “She Won't Say” on June 17, 2024.
The track was written by Connor Wright and Kendall Wright. The accompanying music video was directed by Kelly McKerr.- Kendall Wright said of the song, “This song comes out of the gate quickly and was always meant to be short. It didn't need three choruses and a massive intro. The line 'He's just thinking what she won't say,' sums up the whole song. It's about not wanting to come to terms with the inevitable, as woozy synths lock into this hazy, smoky trance.”
