Roisin O'Hagan Returns With New Song “Midnight Indigo”
British singer-songwriter Roisin O'Hagan returned with a new song “Midnight Indigo” on June 17, 2024.
The song is her first music in almost a year since “I Ran (So Far Away)”.
A departure from her previous country/pop releases, her latest single sees Roisin O'Hagan exploring a mix of pop, rock and singer-songwriter elements.
She wrote the song with producer Neal Handforth.
The track narrates the story of two people and the toxic dynamic between them.
Roisin O'Hagan said of the song, “There is some kind of undeniable, toxic passion between them that neither can leave alone. That is until eventually one takes the power and leaves the situation with no real explanation, apology or closure.”- She shared on social media, “I'm so very happy to announce I'll finally be releasing new music! I've spent the past year or so writing and recording so much new music, taking my time to think about my sound and style, and have been lucky enough to work with incredible musicians and record in amazing studios including Abbey Road along the way.”
