OSKA Releases New Song “Forever Blue”
Vienna-based indie-pop singer-songwriter OSKA released a new song “Forever Blue” on June 14, 2024.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming sophomore album, which is set to be released later this year via Nettwerk.
The track is inspired by a car ride she took with a childhood friend where they played their favorite songs for hours one day before New Year's Eve.
It was written by Clemens Bäre, Maria Burger, and Philipp Steinke. Produced by David Kosten and Maria Burger.
OSKA said of the song, “It felt like being children again; playing, goofing around, snoozing off in the car; not a worry in the world. This song is about reflecting on tough situations and realizations, like childhood ending. It's also about friendship and the beauty of having people in your life who can make you feel at peace by something as simple as listening to music together."- The new album is her first LP in two years since the 2022 debut album “My world, My love, Paris”.
Also, she is set to support Coldplay in her home city alongside Maggie Rogers in August 2024. -
