Anya Nami Releases New Song “Dirty Dream”
Turkish indie-pop singer-songwriter Anya Nami released a new song “Dirty Dream” on June 14, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to her viral song “Bread”, which was released back in April.
Both songs will appear on her upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released in 2024.
The track was written and produced by Anya Nami.
“Dirty Dream” depicts her passion for older guys and potential daddy issues.
Anya Nami said of the song, “The song is based on a real story: one of my first relationships was with my friend's father. It was one of the best things that ever happened to me.”- Anya Nami debuted with “Unsubstantial” in 2023.
Since then, she has released “Wake Me Up”, “Will I Ever Love?”, and “Bread”.
Anya Nami told PureMzine in an interview, “I started with Genshin Impact-inspired songs when created this project in May 2023. Then I moved on to writing about myself, and my own experience, and decided I'd release anything that crossed my mind.” -
She continued, “I'd say my music is really melodious since I write everything on the piano. Every song has an idea and I'm making it sound like a full experience of a certain feeling – and there will be as many songs as emotions to describe.”
She added about the new song, “I had my first real relationship at 18 with my friend's dad who was 47. Maybe I'll tell you about it later but for now, it's still too tragic and comedic for me.” - source : Apple Music
