Khalid Releases New Song “Adore U”
American singer-songwriter Khalid released his latest song “Adore U” on June 14, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “Please Don't Fall In Love With Me”, which was release last month.
Both songs will appear on his upcoming third studio album “Everything Is Changing”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
The track was written by Jamil Chammas, Justin Scott Lucas, and Khalid Robinson. Produced by Digi and Justin Lucas.
Khalid of the song in a statement, “'Adore U' is one of my favorite records. It delivers a melancholic experience filled with ethereal melodies and soulful vocals setting the tone for my upcoming album that I can't wait for my fans to experience.”- The new album is his first body of work in five years since the 2019 album “Free Spirit”.
Khalid told Eddie Francis of Apple Music 1 about the album last year, “I'll be completely honest, this album has some of the best music of my career on it. I wanted to get the songs out that I personally feel like are on the cusp of making the album and keep those ones that I know for a fact are going to make the album just in that chamber until I feel like the time is right. I've been working on music for the past three years because I really want to be extremely particular with what sound I put out into the world when it comes to my album.” -
