CATTY Releases New Song “I Wish I Gave You Hell”
London-based alt-pop singer-songwriter CATTY will perform at BST Hyde Park as opener for American singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks on July 12, 2024.
She released a new song “I Wish I Gave You Hell” which was directly inspired by Stevie Nicks on June 14, 2024.
Stevie Nicks is a consistent reference point for CATTY in every aspect of her life.
Also, the song will appear on CATTY's upcoming debut project, which is set to be released later this summer.
The track was written by Catrin Hopkins, Juliette Edward, Nathan Challinor who also produced it.
CATTY said, “Stevie Nicks is what music sounds like to me. She has soundtracked every heartbreak, every celebration, many dances around the kitchen, many tears on the London tube. As soon as it was announced I called on everything I possibly could to make it happen. I sent a voice note to sweet lovely Darcey as my last resort (booking agent) selling myself like a dog because everything in me told me I was supposed to be on this line up.”- She continued, “This is such a dream come true. I’ve seen every single tweet and comment from everyone who helped make this happen / wanted it to happen and it has absolutely warmed my heart. I cannot thank everyone enough. What an incredible honour, i will talk about this for the rest of my life. I believe in magic because of moments like these.”

CATTY shared on social media, “STEVIE NICKS!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe I’m saying this but ……. I’m supporting Stevie Nicks at BST Hyde Park. As soon as she was announced everything in me told me that i should be on this line up but I didn’t know how to make it happen independently. THAT’S WHERE YOOOOOU COME IN. I saw your comments, I saw your tweets, I saw you cast your little spells - I BELIEVE IN MAGIC BECAUSE OF YOU.”
She continued, “Stevie is what music sounds like to me, she has soundtracked every celebration and every heartbreak. There are no words to possibly convey how much this means to me and how grateful I am but I just need you to know that this means the fucking world.
