  • Oasis Releases Unheard Version of “Columbia (Sawmills Outtake)”

  • British rock band Oasis has announced the reissue of their classic 1994 debut album “Definitely Maybe” will be released on August 30, 2024 via Big Brother Recordings to celebrate the album's 30th anniversary.

The album comprises a 27-track, including tracks recorded at the original session at Monnow Valley Studios and outtakes from the definitive album recording session at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.
Also, the album will include an unreleased demo version of “Sad Song” featuring Liam Gallagher on vocals. The original track on the 1994 album featured vocals by Noel Gallagher.
The album will be available in various formats, including Limited-Edition Deluxe 4LP and Deluxe 2CD formats, exclusive coloured vinyl and cassette, and digitally.
  • From the 30th anniversary edition, the band released an unheard version of the extended edition of “Columbia” as “Columbia (Sawmills Outtake)” on June 13, 2024.
The extended version of the song clocks in at over seven minutes, dwarfing the 6 minutes of the album original.
The track was one of the first songs to be written by Oasis, and was originally released as a white-label 12” vinyl.
It was written by Noel Gallagher and produced by OasisMark Coyle.
