CHASER Releases New Song “Stay Gold”
American punk rock band CHASER, consisting of Mike LeDonne (vocals), Jesse Stopnitzky (bass/vocals), Bill Hockmuth (guitar) and Davey Guy (drums), released a new song “Stay Gold” along with a music video on June 11, 2024.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming fifth studio album “Small Victories”, which is set to be released on June 28, 2024.
Also, the song pays tribute to their friend late Curtis Gold.
The track was written by David Anthony Guy, Jesse Stopnitzky, Michael Anthony LeDonne, and William Joseph Hockmuth. Produced by Cameron Webb.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Zarek Art & Design.
The band said of the song, “Stay Gold is a song we wrote about the sudden loss of one of our best friends Curtis Gold. He had a personality that was larger than life and truly had a heart of gold. While the lyrics reflect on our personal relationship and memories of him, they are all encompassing enough for anyone who has lost someone in their lives to be able relate to in one way or another.”- They continued, “The voice clips of him in the bridge were extracted from videos he recorded shortly before his passing, and the projector movie clips were from videos he took on his recent travels. We wanted to honor his memory, and memorialize him in a song that will live on forever. Your heart of gold will never fade. We love you Curt.”

The new album comprises 13-track, produced by Cameron Webb. It is their first album in three years since the 2021 album “Dreamers”
The band said of the album title, “'Small Victories,' holds a special meaning for us that we felt compelled to share with our listeners. In life, we are continuously presented with challenges, each to our own degree. Managing our personal struggles, we tend to beat ourselves up when the outcome is not as perfect as we envisioned.
