Thomas Rhett Announces New Album “About A Woman”, Shares New Song “Gone Country”
American country music singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett has announced that his seventh studio album “About A Woman” will be released on August 23, 2024.
The album is his body of work in two years since the 2022 album “Where We Started”, and comprises a 14-track.
Thomas Rhett said of the album, “From top to bottom, I wanted to exude joy and fun with this project – and really just make people move. I went into making this record with a fearless attitude, put my blinders on and my head down to try and make really fun music.”
He added, “I feel like if you were to ask me what this record is about, the answer would be it’s about one woman, my wife, and it gave me an opportunity to say 'I love you' in a lot of different ways.”- From the album, he released the second single called “Gone Country” on June 7, 2024, following “Beautiful as You”.
The song draws the love story between a city girl and a country boy.
The track was written by acob Kasher Hindlin, Joe Reeves, John Byron, Julian Bunetta, Rocky Block, Ryan Vojtesak, and Thomas Rhett.
