Rubina Releases New Song “Dangerous”
New York-based Canadian-Iranian singer-songwriter Rubina released the second single of 2024 called “Dangerous” on May 24, 2024.
She co-wrote the song with GRAMMY-winning producer Rico Love.
For writing the song, she was inspired by a phrase her mother used to tell her: “There's no one as dangerous as someone who loves when you're hurt”.
Rubina said of the song, “'Dangerous' really came from a place of personal pain and realization. Writing this song was like admitting to myself that not all love is what it appears to be; when the arms that promised safety only pulled me deeper into pain. The lyrics dig into how some relationships can make you suffer more than they make you happy. It's about seeing that pattern, recognizing it for what it is, and deciding to move past it. It's a reminder that real love should heal, not hurt; a lesson I learned the hard way, but one that has ultimately set me free.”- source : Apple Music
