Leah Mason Announces Debut Album “Hexed”, Shares New Song “Midas Touch”
Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter Leah Mason has announced her debut album “Hexed” will be released on July 26, 2024.
Eager to continue developing her sound, she broke away from the familiar and ventured to Sweden last year to create the album.
The album comprises a 12-track, in which, she showcases a freshly minted pop-centric sound that blends diaristic storytelling with catchy melodies and uptempo, alt-pop production.
From the album, she unveiled the third single called “Midas Touch” on May 31, 2024.
The track was written by Leah Mason, Sara Bares, and Joel Malka who also produced it.
Leah Mason finds power in her vulnerability on the track.
“I feel like I have a talent for always being the one before THE one,” Leah Mason said of the song. “When you know you've left someone a better person than you found them, it can just feel so unfair that someone else gets to reap the rewards. It's felt like it's been the year of engagements in my life, and it's always particularly hard to see the person you once loved and taught how to love go on to build a life with someone else.”- She shared on social media, “Truly one of my favorite songs I've ever written and the time I spent making it is the happiest & most fulfilled i've ever been.”
