PHIA Releases New Song “French Riviera”
London-based singer-songwriter PHIA released a brand new song called “French Riviera” on May 31, 2024.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming debut EP “Talk To Me”, following “Friends Don't Kiss” and “Everything's Not Fine”.
PHIA co-wrote the song with Norwegian multi-instrumental and producer Mathias Wang.
The track was produced by Mathias Wang, and mixed by junkmail.
A sun-kissed alt-pop track is about the beginning of a relationship.
PHIA said of the song, “I wrote this song about the beginning of a relationship. We were in the 'honeymoon' phase and I wanted to capture the romantic, warm feeling I felt even sitting in a small flat in London. It really felt like we were in the most beautiful place in the world and what's more romantic than the French Riviera?”- The debut EP is expected to be released in 2024 via LAB Records.
On the debut EP, PHIA worked with producers Mathias Wang, John Blanda, and Henrik B. Michelsen.
She said of the EP, “These songs are my real life experiences. The things I never got to say through some of the worst and some of the best times of my life. They come from the heart, I'm someone who feels so deeply so I hope it allows people to feel connected to my world." -
