Toby Gad Releases New Version of Beyoncé's “IF I WERE A BOY” featuring Angelina Jordan
Los Angeles-based music producer Toby Gad teamed up with Norwegian singer-songwriter Angelina Jordan to release a new version of “IF I WERE A BOY” on May 31, 2024.
The song will appear on his upcoming album “Piano Diaries Vol.1”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
The new album features collaborations with Aloe Blacc, Keke Palmer and Victoria Justice.
The original version of the song was contributed by Toby Gad to American singer-songwriter Beyoncé, who released as the second single from her third studio album “I Am... Sasha Fierce” in 2008.
This time, he made the new version with soulful piano and string arrangements, featuring Angelina Jordan.
They first performed the song at the Palladium in London last month.
